Wheels and Deals – The Basics
- As a registered shareholder, your share certificate has been placed in a vial, sealed and deposited in the main drum.
- Keep the large part of the share certificate.
- You may sell, trade, or redeem your certificate for a prize if your number is chosen.
- The main drum is closed before the draw starts.
- No vials may be placed in the drum after it is closed.
- All numbers in the drum are in play.
- Certificate numbers start at 001.
The Main Drum
- Vials will be chosen at random and the number announced by the MC.
- If your number is drawn on a major prize draw, please identify yourself to claim your prize.
- Your number is then retired for the evening - with exception of the final draw, it is out of play and put in the garbage can.
- You may, however offer to buy a share still in play from another shareholder.
- The draw will continue until all vials are drawn from the main drum.
- The final number drawn will win a choice of a vehicle OR cash.
The Recycle Bin
- During the evening, a number of vials will be chosen from the recycle bin and reintroduced to the main drum.
What If I Win?
- If your number is a prize winner, please identify yourself and the prize will delivered to your table.
- It is your responsibility to remove your prize from the convention centre.
- Prizes are to be accepted as awarded.
- If you are holding a certificate other than the one originally registered to you, it must be correctly endorsed by the original registered shareholder.
How Do I Trade?
- At any time, you may buy or sell any share certificates still in play in the main drum or recycle bin.
- Anyone in the room, guests included, may be part of the deal.
You may make a deal in one of two ways:
| Inform the draw coordinator at the trading desk that you wish to buy or sell a certificate. Your offer will be posted on the trading screen and if the deal can be made, the trade will be registered with the trading desk. | |
Make a private deal. This should be registered Important! |
The Final Five
- When there are five vials left in the main drum, the shareholders (one representative in the event of group ownership) will be asked to come to the stage for the final five draws.
- A brief final period will be allowed for these finalists to wheel & deal, and then the trading desk will be closed to any further trades on the floor at this time. Drawing will proceed to the final winner.
- After the final draw has been made from the main drum, the trip for two will be drawn from all vials. You must be present in the room within 5 minutes of the prize trip draw. If not claimed, an alternate draw will be held
